“The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down.” Proverbs 14:1

“10 A wife of noble character who can find?    She is worth far more than rubies.11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.15 She gets up while it is still night;she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants.16 She considers a field and buys it;out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.17 She sets about her work vigorously;her arms are strong for her tasks.18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. 23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;she can laugh at the days to come. 26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed;her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”  Proverbs 31: 10-31

The Woman called Iáomai

20140716-124245-45765960.jpg

I hear a knock at my door, there may be a intruder.
They’re tapping on my window, trying to come in.
Don’t look out the window, close the curtains, lock all the doors!
My gasps for air sneak out.
I think they heard me.
Now someones on my roof, trying to break in!
Ignore him, he’ll eventually go away.
Loud yelling, kicking, cursing.
I’m afraid.

I hear someone upstairs
There’s a intruder
He wiped his muddy boots off on my pure white carpets.
There’s a intruder.
Dirt immerses my home.
Filth, cold, memories, fear.
There’s a intruder.
Eyes finally connect, he’s leaving.
Vanishing into this crisp,cold night.
Leaving my door open, mud screaming from my walls, and a chilling breeze that pierces my bones to follow.

Is this what you had planned for me?
Leaving me with paralyzing nightmares, and pain.
Unfiltered terror.
I just can’t stop wondering “Why?”
A moment passes when I realize…
I know my intruder.

Time is nonexistent.
Lies echoe,filling my soul.
What hope do I have left?

Sitting in a puddle of sorrow.
Through my tears I see a reflection.
Not just a reflection, but a mirroring sight of a King.
This King, absorbed it all.

Every single drop descending from my withering eyes.
Fear no more.
Hurt, never again.
Such greatness of an Impeccable love.
This King.
Redemption of rebirth.
This King.
Beauty, escorted by stainless.
By just the touch of His garment.
He has called me, Healed!
An undeserving exchange.
Revelation follows wondrous faith.
My Savior.
This King is

“He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.”
Psalm 40:2

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,”
Psalm 91:1-5

She Dresses Herself with Strength

“She dresses herself with strength, and makes her arms strong.”
Proverbs 31:17

A.
Dresses– to clothe, prepare, attire ones self.

B.
Strength– remain firm, courage, mental power.

I decided to do a write up and study on Proverbs 31 a little while ago. During this time a particular scripture spoke so loud to me. Verse 17, had me really thinking. So, I did my research and broke down practically every word. Focusing on the fact that this woman ‘dresses’ herself in strength.

Well, what kind of strength? Where did this strength come from? How did she receive such empowerment? These questions go straight to the obvious answer that she finds her strength in her God whom she trust wholeheartedly.

I find that we have a hard time trusting the Father when he has granted us great strength to be women. He has made us strong to overcome the winds of this life; from your first disappointment, self-esteem establishment, motherhood, to being a noble wife.

Ultimately, bringing us to the conclusion that we need to quiet ourselves by humility and rely on him with full dependence.

A Prayer from Your bride

image

Beloved lead me out of the distress that I have woven myself into.
For I have so closely fallen into my enemy’s trap

They’ve second to have me but O God have mistaken who You are.
O my Beloved I shall not go anywhere else
Where could I have gone to anyways during such rain?

For the walls of Your home keep me warm
Inside those walls there is a resting place; a stream of living waters that awakens my dry soul.

This secureness is endless. Eternally ongoing.
My Beloved keep me here and never let me go.

You are always beside me; for that I will never depart from you.
Lead me O God like the Shepard guiding it’s sheep through a wondrous night.
For I will trust the ways of The Way.

I am forever yours, and you are eternally mine.

                 Your bride,

Adversary Waters

I sit hear and let these thoughts flood my mind like a horrendous tidal wave.

Slowly creeping upon the shores of my thoughts.

Overwhelming,  overtaking everything and anything in it’s way. Without my permission or even a faint warning.

The ache of thus chill, dark waters crawling across all living,  possible breathing thing.

Deceit rising higher, loneliness rising higher, hopelessness rising higher.

Out of breath.  Drowned.  Fading away.

-Kristin-Sierrah

“So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

Behold His Love

image

Behold His love
Flowing brilliantly from the throne of grace
Love that began before time can remember
Love resting, searching for something but so thankfully someone to overcome.
Behold His love
Grasping every inch of you, overwhelming every part of you.
Ruling over your mind, ruling over your soul, ruling over your spirit.
Behold His love
So sweetly surrender
For His love bears all, conquers all, redeems all.
Behold His love

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures forever;”

Untamed Surrender

I’m not gonna let these thoughts run through my mind like wild bore.

You are here with me. Your holy spirit dwells in me.

You say I reside in you. And I’m sticking with it.

My outlet, my source, my waterfall.
I feel your wind dancing around me oh so pleasantly.

I feel your rivers running deep in the caves of my heart.

Let it go, let it go, God I’m letting it go.

Your creations inspires me.
To sore above the clouds and not to sit on them.
